The designer shall prepare an inventory of project phases and activities for the client as well as evaluate them for each individual design phase, work or scope of work. The offer should be as detailed a document as possible, listing each task to be carried out within the agreed scope of the contract as fully and completely as possible.
The designer prepares and explains the offer, and can further adjust it depending on the client’s reactions. On the basis of a document prepared in this way and approved by the client, it is possible and advisable to conclude a contract.
An offer confirmed in writing by the client, even without a contract, shall be considered as the start of a business relationship. The record of the confirmation is therefore an important document to prove the elements of the contractual relationship in the case of disputes settled by the competent court.
