Conclusion of an agreement and contract

Once the designer and the client have agreed on all the ways in which they can work together, a cooperation agreement can be concluded, which is usually either a confirmed offer or a contract.

This can be a contract for the commissioning of an author’s work (also known as author’s contract, which is most often used for designers acting as individual authors-natural persons) or a business cooperation contract, an important segment of which must also be the definition of the assignment of material copyright (which is more often used when cooperating with legal entities); or, in the case of clients that are larger legal entities, a numbered purchase order may formalise the cooperation.
