In addition to moral and economic entitlements, the copyright also tenders the author with other rights, where the moral character of the right can too be perceived. The most obvious amongst the rights is the right of access and delivery of the original or copy of the work. If the author needs the original for their own needs of reproduction or processing, such access does not conflict with the owner’s legitimate interests. Other rights of the author include the resale right i.e. the right to be informed and to be compensated when the design work is resold as an original work of art. The public lending right does not apply to works of applied art and industrial design, while the right to compensation in relation to private reproduction may also apply to works of design authorship.
