If the client decides not to start serial production of a design product or a product which is the subject of cooperation with the designer, or to discontinue production which has already started, the client shall immediately inform the designer thereof. In such a case, the designer may revoke the transfer of the material copyright, provided that two years have elapsed since the transfer, or three months if the client is the publisher of a daily newspaper and the order was placed in that medium (in the case of periodicals, this period is one year). The revocation of a transfer of an economic right is possible if the author first offers the holder a reasonable additional period of time for the sufficient exercise of the right.
When economic right is revoked, that specific economic right reverts to the designer. The client is obliged to return to the designer all documentation related to the provision of the revoked economic right in relation to the final product.
