If, at the client’s request, the designer undertakes additional work that is not defined in the project brief, estimate or contract, it is recommended that these be charged separately according to the price items specified for this in the recommended tariff (e.g. for design concept, design implementation) or according to the recommended appropriate hourly fees for additional services.<\/p>\n
The same applies if the designer assesses that additional services are necessary or urgent: the designer informs the client about this in a timely manner (in writing) and agrees on the evaluation of the additionally provided services.<\/p>\n
Reimbursement of expenses<\/strong><\/p>\n The designer has the right to reimbursement of expenses incurred during the project and of which the client was informed in time, including: travel expenses, hotel accommodation, daily allowance, production of prototypes, models, purchase of typographic licenses… It is recommended that the client confirms the costs of the project which will have to be reimursed to the designer in advance and in writing.<\/p>\n Typography licensing<\/strong><\/p>\n The designer does not hand over the typefaces that were used in the design to the client and does not purchase them for the client. The client must purchase the license fee for further use of the typeface for their own needs. Typography licence fee means a one-time purchase and thus the right to use the typeface.
